For insurance brokers. More than a renewal notice.

For insurance brokers. A letter in real ink at renewal, thanking a client by name, is the one part of the year’s paperwork they’ll be glad to open.

Everyone reads their letters.

What to write.

A renewal thank-you to start from. The blanks fill in from each client’s row on your list.

Dear first name,

Thank you for renewing with us for another year. We do not take company’s trust for granted.

If anything changes in the business, a new site, new staff, a new van, call me first and I will make sure you are covered.

With best wishes,

Your name

Make it theirs.

  • After the renewal, not with it. Let the paperwork arrive on its own. A thank-you reads better without a premium in it.
  • Name what you cover. Their fleet, their shop, their farm: a column on your list puts it in the letter.
  • Ask for the call. Ask them to tell you when the business changes. It’s good advice, and a reason to talk.

Write with AI.

Or let your assistant write every one. Connect Very Good Letter to Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, ask in plain words, and it writes each person a letter of their own.

An assistant writing one of these letters: Using Very Good Letter, write a thank-you letter to each client who renewed this month. Mention what we insure for them and how long they have been with us. Show me every letter and the price before ordering. Checking your CRM: Calderbrook Plant Hire renewed its fleet cover on Monday. A client since 2020. Reading your notes: Graham Lord added two excavators to the fleet in the summer. Writing Graham’s letter: Thanks him for six years, and checks the new excavators are covered. Dear Graham, Thank you for renewing with us again. Six years on, we do not take Calderbrook’s trust for granted. Graham’s letter, ready for you to check.
  • It does the reading. Ask it to check your CRM, your orders and the news first, and it writes every letter from what it finds.
  • Every letter its own. Not a template with a name dropped in: each one written from greeting to sign-off for the person who opens it, and sized to fit.
  • Nothing goes without you. It can show you every letter, who it’s to and the price before anything is ordered. It orders only when you say yes.

Fair questions.

Is every letter different?
Yes. Their name, their company, anything on your list goes into their letter, in the same ink as the rest. Want letters built on research into each person, or people to send them to? Our partner MeetChase does both.
Can it look like us?
Yes. Give us your website and we bring in your logo, colours and typeface, or use your own letterhead. Flat cards, folded cards or folded letters, on four papers, all the same price.
Can I check them before they go?
Yes. Read every letter on screen before you pay, exactly as the pen will write it.
Who writes the letters?
Written by robots. Unquestionably human. Real fountain pens, real ink, real paper. Just a steadier hand than ours. Nib, our handwriting model, guides each pen, in twelve styles from loose to neat.
What does it cost?
You pay in credits. A standard letter is 7 credits, envelope, stamp and postage included: from £3.25 a letter before VAT. See the prices.
