# For galleries: The Very Good Letter Company

> Fill the private view. For galleries, dealers and auction houses. An invitation in real ink, naming an artist a collector already loves, is the one they keep on the mantelpiece until the night.

- **The whole site, in brief:** https://www.verygoodletter.co/llms.txt

## What to send.

- [Invitations](https://www.verygoodletter.co/use-cases/invitations): Invitations to private views, written to each collector by name.
- [Thank-you cards](https://www.verygoodletter.co/use-cases/thank-you): A thank-you to every buyer, naming the work.
- [Win-back letters](https://www.verygoodletter.co/use-cases/re-engagement): A letter to collectors who haven’t visited in a while, about an artist they love.
- [Christmas cards](https://www.verygoodletter.co/use-cases/christmas-cards): Christmas cards to collectors, and to the artists you show.

## What to write.

An invitation to start from. The blanks fill in from each collector’s row on your list, so every one names an artist they love.

> Dear [first name],
>
> I would love you to join us for the private view of [the show].
>
> Knowing how much you admire [an artist they love], I think you will find a great deal to like.
>
> Do bring a friend. The details are inside.
>
> Warmly,
>
> [your name]

### Make it theirs.

- **Name the artist.** A line about the work they already own, or the artist they follow, says the invitation was meant for them.
- **Let the cover be the show.** Put a work from the exhibition on the cover, and the details inside it.
- **Thank the buyers.** After the show, a card to everyone who bought, naming the work, is how a buyer becomes a collector.

## Write with AI.

Or let your assistant write every one. Connect Very Good Letter to Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, ask in plain words, and it writes each person a letter of their own.

- **It does the reading.** Ask it to check your CRM, your orders and the news first, and it writes every letter from what it finds.
- **Every letter its own.** Not a template with a name dropped in: each one written from greeting to sign-off for the person who opens it, and sized to fit.
- **Nothing goes without you.** It can show you every letter, who it’s to and the price before anything is ordered. It orders only when you say yes.

For example: “Using Very Good Letter, write a thank-you card to everyone who bought from the summer show. Name the work they bought and say something true about it. Show me every card and the price before ordering.” [Send with AI](https://www.verygoodletter.co/build-with-ai)

1. Checking your sales: Edward Lam bought “Low Tide, Morecambe” from the summer show.
2. Reading about the work: Marta Sobel painted it over three winters, from the same spot on the sands.
3. Writing Edward’s card: Thanks him for Low Tide, and tells him how long it took to paint.

Edward’s card, ready for you to check.

> Dear Edward,
>
> Thank you for taking “Low Tide, Morecambe” home. Marta painted it over three winters, from the same spot on the sands, and I think it has found exactly the right wall.
>
> With warm wishes,
>
> Sofia

## Fair questions.

### Where do the date and RSVP go?

In print, inside the cover, with your design. The ink is for the invitation itself.

### Can each invitation be different?

Yes. Anything on your list goes into their invitation, in the same ink as the rest: their name, an artist they love, a work they own.

### Who writes the letters?

Written by robots. Unquestionably human. Real fountain pens, real ink, real paper. Just a steadier hand than ours. Nib, our handwriting model, guides each pen, in twelve styles from loose to neat.

### What does it cost?

You pay in credits. A standard letter is 7 credits, envelope, stamp and postage included: from £3.25 a letter before VAT. [See the prices](https://www.verygoodletter.co/pricing).
