# For event venues: The Very Good Letter Company

> Fill the diary. For event, conference and wedding venues. A letter in real ink to the people who book rooms, and a thank-you after every event, keeps your venue in mind when the next one comes round.

- **The whole site, in brief:** https://www.verygoodletter.co/llms.txt

## What to send.

- [Thank-you cards](https://www.verygoodletter.co/use-cases/thank-you): A thank-you after every event, remembering how it went.
- [Win-back letters](https://www.verygoodletter.co/use-cases/re-engagement): A letter to last year’s bookers, before this year’s date is gone.
- [Outbound letters](https://www.verygoodletter.co/use-cases/outbound): A first letter to the PAs, office managers and planners who book.
- [Invitations](https://www.verygoodletter.co/use-cases/invitations): Invitations to a showcase evening or an open day.

## What to write.

A thank-you to start from. The blanks fill in from each booker’s row on your list, so every card remembers their event.

> Dear [first name],
>
> Thank you for choosing us for [their event]. It was a pleasure to look after you all.
>
> If you are planning the next one, I would be glad to hold the date for you.
>
> With best wishes,
>
> [your name]

### Make it theirs.

- **Remember the day.** The room, the weather, the speech that ran long: one true detail says you were there too.
- **Offer to hold the date.** A thank-you that ends with next year’s date is easy to say yes to.
- **Write to the bookers.** Whoever books the room, the PA or the office manager, not just whoever signs.

## Write with AI.

Or let your assistant write every one. Connect Very Good Letter to Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, ask in plain words, and it writes each person a letter of their own.

- **It does the reading.** Ask it to check your CRM, your orders and the news first, and it writes every letter from what it finds.
- **Every letter its own.** Not a template with a name dropped in: each one written from greeting to sign-off for the person who opens it, and sized to fit.
- **Nothing goes without you.** It can show you every letter, who it’s to and the price before anything is ordered. It orders only when you say yes.

For example: “Using Very Good Letter, write to everyone who held their summer party with us last year. Mention their event and offer to hold the same date this year. Show me every letter and the price before ordering.” [Send with AI](https://www.verygoodletter.co/build-with-ai)

1. Checking your bookings: Tidewell Insurance held its summer party in the Orangery last July.
2. Reading your notes: Sarah Quinn booked it. The ceilidh band went down a storm.
3. Writing Sarah’s letter: Remembers the ceilidh, and offers to hold the same Saturday in July.

Sarah’s letter, ready for you to check.

> Dear Sarah,
>
> It is nearly a year since Tidewell danced the night away in the Orangery. The ceilidh band still talk about it.
>
> If you would like the same Saturday in July, I would be glad to hold it for you.
>
> With best wishes,
>
> Rory

## Fair questions.

### Where do the date and RSVP go?

In print, inside the cover, with your design. The ink is for the invitation itself.

### Can we hand them out ourselves?

Yes. We can box them up and send them to you to hand out, or post each one for you.

### Who writes the letters?

Written by robots. Unquestionably human. Real fountain pens, real ink, real paper. Just a steadier hand than ours. Nib, our handwriting model, guides each pen, in twelve styles from loose to neat.

### What does it cost?

You pay in credits. A standard letter is 7 credits, envelope, stamp and postage included: from £3.25 a letter before VAT. [See the prices](https://www.verygoodletter.co/pricing).
