# For accountants: The Very Good Letter Company

> Keep your clients for years. For accountants and bookkeepers. A card in real ink for a new client, and for every introduction, tells a client you see a person, not a file.

- **The whole site, in brief:** https://www.verygoodletter.co/llms.txt

## What to send.

- [Welcome cards](https://www.verygoodletter.co/use-cases/welcome): A welcome for every new client, with who looks after them.
- [Thank-you cards](https://www.verygoodletter.co/use-cases/thank-you): A thank-you once the accounts are filed, and for every introduction.
- [Christmas cards](https://www.verygoodletter.co/use-cases/christmas-cards): Christmas cards to every client, each thanking them for something of their own.
- [Outbound letters](https://www.verygoodletter.co/use-cases/outbound): A first letter to local businesses you would like to look after.

## What to write.

A welcome to start from. The blanks fill in from each new client’s row on your list, so every card names the person who’ll look after them.

> Dear [first name],
>
> Welcome to the practice. We are delighted [company] has chosen us.
>
> [their accountant] will be looking after you, and is always happy to take a call, however small the question.
>
> With warm wishes,
>
> [your name]

### Make it theirs.

- **Introduce the person.** Name who looks after them, and how to reach them. A new client wants a person, not a department.
- **Thank every introduction.** A referral is the biggest compliment a client can pay. Give each one a card of its own.
- **Miss the rush.** Send cards when the year end is done, not in January, when every letter is about tax.

## Write with AI.

Or let your assistant write every one. Connect Very Good Letter to Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, ask in plain words, and it writes each person a letter of their own.

- **It does the reading.** Ask it to check your CRM, your orders and the news first, and it writes every letter from what it finds.
- **Every letter its own.** Not a template with a name dropped in: each one written from greeting to sign-off for the person who opens it, and sized to fit.
- **Nothing goes without you.** It can show you every letter, who it’s to and the price before anything is ordered. It orders only when you say yes.

For example: “Using Very Good Letter, write a thank-you card to each client who introduced someone to us this year. Check our CRM for who they introduced. Show me every card and the price before ordering.” [Send with AI](https://www.verygoodletter.co/build-with-ai)

1. Checking your CRM: Gareth Pugh introduced Moss & Lane Joinery in June.
2. Checking the new client: Moss & Lane signed up for monthly bookkeeping.
3. Writing Gareth’s card: Thanks him for the introduction, and says Moss & Lane are in good hands.

Gareth’s card, ready for you to check.

> Dear Gareth,
>
> Thank you for introducing us to Moss & Lane Joinery. They have settled in well, and we will look after them as carefully as we look after you.
>
> With thanks,
>
> Ann

## Fair questions.

### Is there a minimum order?

No. The smallest pack is 7 credits, enough for one standard letter, and the more you buy, the less each one costs.

### Can it look like us?

Yes. Give us your website and we bring in your logo, colours and typeface, or use your own letterhead. Flat cards, folded cards or folded letters, on four papers, all the same price.

### Can I check them before they go?

Yes. Read every letter on screen before you pay, exactly as the pen will write it.

### Who writes the letters?

Written by robots. Unquestionably human. Real fountain pens, real ink, real paper. Just a steadier hand than ours. Nib, our handwriting model, guides each pen, in twelve styles from loose to neat.

### What does it cost?

You pay in credits. A standard letter is 7 credits, envelope, stamp and postage included: from £3.25 a letter before VAT. [See the prices](https://www.verygoodletter.co/pricing).
